A Wedding in a Barn

April 14th,2010 Written by Manuela | No Comments

Who would have thought the words wedding and barn could work together in such a harmony and look so elegant and romantic!  well Melissa and Ryan sure pulled it off! cowboy boots, wild flowers, manzanita branches and lace are part of this fabulous and very unique vintage DIY wedding photographed by Ken Kienow.

Melissa and Ryan got married at the Dana Powers Barn part of the Dana Powers House, a beautiful location built in 1882 on a portion of the historic 37,888-acre Rancho Nipomo, in Nipomo, California.

Many of the gorgeous details and arrangements on this wedding were made by Melissa herself incorporating elements found and bought. The flower arrangements were made by April Flowers which I think are delightful!

Some of the elements on this wedding are lovely, and so unique! check out these fabulous pictures by Ken Kienow.

Congratulations Melissa and Ryan for this fabulous and romantic wedding!
